The lid closes gently but does not open automatically. The remote uses three AAA batteries. Drying takes longer than a quick paper blot.

Do I need new plumbing?

Most listed seats connect to the existing toilet water supply using the model's installation hardware. Check your connection and mounting access, especially on skirted toilets. Follow the installation guide and ask a qualified installer if you are unsure.
